[oss] [Assignment 1][Task 5] SIGSEGV

Hi there!
I have a problem with task 5:On my machine I receive a SIGSEGV signal(caused by a buffer overflow) while on the vmchecker I receive an assertion error (Assertion `cnt == len' failed.). 

Any idea what the problem could be?
